Segmented Candy Bowl With Lid

With Valentine’s day approaching, I made a segmented candy jar. This jar is cherry with accents in walnut. It uses 66 pieces of wood including the top and bottom finials. Since I want it to hold candy, it is finished with food safe mineral oil and beeswax.
A bonus, I get to enjoy a chocolate kiss.
I admire you consistency and your creativity, even while “on the road”. Thanks.
The bowl looks great. I love the different colors.
Alan,
what are the rough dimension of this piece. I would like to try and make one and I like the proportions of yours.
Alan,
I would like to make a few of these for Christmas presents. Could you share wood thickness and the ring sizes you used so I don’t have to figure it out my self. Thanks you and I really enjoy your videos.
Joseph,
I would do you a great dis-service to simply give you the specs. While I would not mind you mimicking the work, part of woodturning is making it your own.
Instead, I’ll do a video covering these basics. Then you can really soar.
